Started running in 2015 after a physical gone bad. 295 pounds pre-diabetic, High blood pressure the whole 9 yards. I went to the gym the very next day to run a mile on the treadmill, I made it a quarter mile. Went back every other day until I was finally asked to get off the treadmill for taking too much time. I transition to the road and then transition to trail have completed everything from a 5K to 100 miler. I am 54 years old and now weigh 220.
Georgia Death Race. I’m a flat lander that lives in Maryland. Definitely looking forward to training in the mountains this fall and winter.
