Cut Off Time

The cut off time for the 1/2 Marathon is 3 hours!

This race is a ton of fun!! If you’ve never run on a trail at night with a Yeti in the woods you should sign up now. The goal is for everyone regardless of fitness to be smiling the entire time. SO WEAR YOUR YETI COSTUMES AND COME READY TO PARTY!

Sean "Run Bum" Blanton and Jason "Beer Mile" Green, race directors for Run Bum Tours and Yeti Trail Races, have put their heads together to offer you something fun and unique in nighttime trail running!

Course and Terrain

A lot of folks run roads and are coming to this race having never run trails before. This is okay ,we have 60% of the folks running a trail race for their first time. The course is a mix of sinlge track trail, technical trail and wide open dirt road. We HIGHLY recommend trail shoes!

Required Gear

You MUST have a headlamp to participate. People try and save money and bring inexpensive flashlights. Guess what? These are the people tripping over things and getting lost in the woods . You need at least 150 lumens for your head lamp and new or freshly charged batteries before the start. If you think you will be near cutoff,  bring an extra set of batteries.

Sunset is at 6:30 P.M.  The races start separately and runners take off into the night with their lights. Its ALL fun and games through the woods on the easy trails to the finish. Everyone is encouraged to dress as a yeti! Best yeti costume wins a prize.

We will have 1 aid station (10 mile course only) as well as aid at the start / finish per loop.

The course will be flat and rolling hills entirely in the dark. The course is one 10 mile lollipop. The 5 mile is a loop.
